Italian parmesan with grilled eggplants: the tasty side dish

Ingredients:
Simple tomato sauce:
extra virgin olive oil
grated onion
700 g tomato puree plus water
salt
basil
3 aubergines, cut rather thin
parmesan
stretched curd cheese
baked ham
Directions:
1. First prepare a simple sauce.
2. Cut the aubergines and grill them.
3. Now assemble the Parmigiana alternating the various layers.
4. Bake at 400°F/200° for 30/35 minutes.
