Walnuts and caramel pie: the recipe for a delicious dessert

Ingredienti:
- For the dough:
150 g of flour
80 g of sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp of vanilla extract
80 g of butter
1-2 tbsp of water
- For the filling:
200 g of walnuts
50 g of hazelnuts
- For the caramel:
225 g of sugar
50 g of butter
160 g of warm cream
Half a tsp of salt
1 tsp of instant coffee (optional)
Directions:
1. Mix flour, powdered sugar, eggs, vanilla and butter and a bowl.
2. Mix with your hands to. combine.
3. Now pour in water (if the dough isn't soft enough).
4. Wrap the dough in plastic and let rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
5. Toast nuts in the oven at 160° for 10-15 minutes.
6. Spread the dough using a rolling pin and place it in the mold.
7. Refine the edges and make some holes on the bottom using a fork.
8. Let cool in the freezer for 30 minutes, then bake at 170° for 20-25 minutes.
9. Once it's done place nuts in the pie.
10. Now make caramel by melting sugar in a pan. Then add butter, cream, coffee and salt.
11. Blend everything, then sift and pour onto the pie.
12. Let rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
