Sponge cake with chocolate filling: the recipe for a simple dessert everyone will love

Ingredients:

- For the batter:

3 eggs

90 g of sugar

2 tsp of vanilla sugar

1 pinch of salt

1 tbsp of lemon juice

100 g of flour

2 tsp of baking powder

- For the filling:

65 g of dark chocolat2

2 tbsp and a half of sugar

25 g of cocoa powder

1 tbsp of agar

180 ml of milk

180 ml of cream

- For the syrup:

125 g of cream

60 ml of condensed milk

- For decoration:

90 g of dark chocolate

30 g of butter

Almond flakes

Directions:

1. Whisk eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and lemon juice in a large bowl.

2. Aside, mix flour and baking powder. Now sift and stir them into the previous batter.

3. Pour the mixture into a cake mold and bake at 180° for 25 minutes.

4. Let cool completely, then cut in two layers.

5. For the filling: pour sugar, cocoa powder, agar, milk and cream in a saucepan.

6. Bring to a boil and stir continuously until it thickens. Then stir in finely chopped chocolate.

7. Pour the mixture into a round mold and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

8. Mix cream and condensed milk, then use this mixture to wet sponge cake layers. Fill with the chocolate disk.

9. Melt dark chocolate with butter and coat the cake, then decorate with some almond flakes.

10. Refrigerate again for 30 minutes and serve.
