Chocolate moon fritters: moist and full of chocolate!

You won't be able to stop at one!
INGREDIENTS
250 g (1 1/2 cup) flour
170 g (5/8 cup) Greek yogurt
80 g (1/3 cup) sugar
1 egg
10 g (2 tsp) baking powder
2 g (1 tsp) lemon zest
90 g (6 tbsp) hazelnut cream
powdered sugar (for coating)
vegetable oil (for frying)
METHOD
- In a bowl combine flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add egg, Greek yogurt, lemon zest, a pinch of salt and stir slightly with a spatula. Then continue to knead the dough with your hands till you receive an elastic dough.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured working surface and roll it with a rolling pin into a circle.
- Cut out 6-8 small rounds with a bowl, approximately 10 cm in diameter.
- Spoon a tablespoon of hazelnut cream in the center of each round. Fold one half of the round on the other and seal the edges.
- Fry in hot oil for 3-5 minutes or until golden.
- Coat fritter in powdered sugar and serve.
