VALENTINE'S DAY COOKIES: looks beautiful and very tasty!

INGREDIENTS
120g (½ cup) butter
240g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanillin (or vanilla powder)
1 egg
80g (1/3 cup) sugar
Powdered sugar (as needed)
Strawberry jam (as needed)
 
METHOD
1. Combine the butter and flour, kneading with your hands until you achieve a sandy texture.
2. Add the sugar and vanillin, then mix in the egg and knead again. (You can also use a stand mixer with the paddle attachment.)
3. Once the dough is formed, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour.
4. After chilling, roll out the dough and cut out heart shapes using a cookie cutter. On half of the cookies, use a smaller heart-shaped cutter to create a hole in the center.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Once cooled, spread jam on the solid cookies and dust the cut-out ones with powdered sugar. Finally, sandwich them together to create the finished cookies.
