PUFF PASTRY MASKS: the perfect idea for Carnival!

INGREDIENTS (makes 12 masks)
1 rectangular roll of puff pastry
100g dark chocolate
100g colorful candy sprinkles
Milk, as needed
Granulated sugar, as needed
 
METHOD
1. Unroll the puff pastry on a work surface and, using a knife, cut out mask shapes with the help of two printed templates.
2. Remove the excess pastry.
3. Arrange the masks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
4. Brush the surface lightly with milk and sprinkle generously with granulated sugar.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F for about 10 minutes, then let them cool.
6. Decorate by brushing the masks with the melted dark chocolate while still warm, then add the colorful candy sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
