published on 13 February, 2024 at 11:19
INGREDIENTS
520g (4 1/4 cups) of all-purpose flour
180g (1 1/2 cups) of powdered sugar
4g (1/4 tbsp) of baking powder
190g (3/4 cup) of butter
2 eggs
Vanilla extract
30g (1/4 cup) of cocoa powder
Chocolate (melted)
Colorful sprinkles
METHOD
1. In a bowl add the flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract and mix. When dough starts to form knead it with hands to obtain compact dough.
2. Split the dough in half. Wrap one half in cling film and transfer to the fridge for 30 minutes. In another half add the cocoa and knead until dough absorbs cocoa powder. Wrap in cling film and transfer to the fridge for 30 minutes.
3. Print the mask shape on a piece of paper and put it on the parchment paper drawing with the wooden pencil. Cut it with the scissors.
4. After time has elapsed roll out the first half of the dough and create the shape with the mask. Repeat the process with cocoa dough.
5. Transfer the masks to the baking tray covered with parchment paper. Bake in oven at 180°C/360°F for 15 minutes.
6. Dip each side of the mask in melted chocolate after baking and sprinkle with colorful sprinkles.
