Fried stars: a delicious recipe for Carnival!

A delicious sweet treat everyone will love!

INGREDIENTS
• 400g flour
• 30g sugar
• 1 yolk
• 1 egg
• 50g cottage cheese
• 30ml milk
• grated zest of half an orange
• 5g baking powder
• icing sugar
• frying oil
 
METHOD
  1. Knead all ingredients in a bowl except milk.
  2. Start mixing everything well with a fork, and as the dough becomes more smooth, start kneading with your hands.
  3. Add milk a little while mixing everything.
  4. Form a ball and leave for 20 minutes.
  5. Take the dough and roll it out not too thin with a rolling pin, remove the thin strips and wrap them around a greased steel.
  6. Heat the oil.
  7. Fry Falling stars.
  8. Roll in icing sugar while they are still hot.
