Veal stew with artichokes: the simple and savory recipe perfect for winter days

Ingredients:
600 g of veal meat
500 g of fresh artichokes
150 g of onion
2 or 3 garlic cloves
1 big carrot
150 g of peas
150 ml of white wine
EVO oil
Salt and pepper
Water
Directions:
1. First, clean the artichokes and cut them. Use the stem too, but clean them on the outside.
2. Put everything in water and lemon for a couple of minutes.
3. In a large pan pour some olive oil.
4. When the oil is hot enough, add meat cut in pieces.
5. After a couple of minutes take the meat out of the pan, and use the same cooking juices to fry garlic and onion finely chopped.
6. Season with salt, then add the carrots cut in large pieces and the artichokes.
7. Place the meat again, pour some white wine and let the alcohol completely evaporate. Then pour eater and season with salt and pepper.
8. When it boils add peas too.
9. Cover with a lid and cook until the sauce is almost completely absorbed and the meat is tender.
