Black Forest Cake: the recipe for the creamy dessert everybody will love

Ingredients:
- For the cocoa sponge cake:
3 whole eggs
70 g of sugar
95 g of flour
15 g of cocoa powder
5 g of baking powder
45 g of milk
45 g of melted butter
- For the cream:
450 g of mascarpone cheese
450 g of whipping cream
Vanilla extract
160 g of powdered sugar
- For decoration:
250 g of dark chocolate
- For the filling:
230 g of cherries in syrup
Directions:
1. For the cocoa sponge cake, whip eggs and sugar.
2. Then stir in milk and melted butter, too. Sift and mix in flour, cocoa and baking powder too.
3. Pour the batter into a mold (16 cm diameter) and bake in a pre-heated oven at 160 degrees for 55 minutes.
4. Let cool completely.
5. Melt 150 g of dark chocolate in a waterbath, then add another 100 g a little bit at a time.
6. Pur the chocolate onto a baking paper sheet, level to make a think layer, then roll and let cool in the fridge.
7. Now make the cream mixing mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl.
8. Lastly add whipping cream and mix using electrical whisks.
9. Drain the cherries and save their syrup.
10. Cut the sponge cake and divide it into 3 equal layers.
11. Now assemble the dessert alternating cake layer wet with cherries syrup, mascarpone cream and diced cherries.
12. Use the cream to coat the entire cake too.
13. Decorate with chocolate pieces, cream peaks and more cherries.
