Sicilian cassatelle: the Italian recipe to enjoy your dessert

Ingredients for 10 cassatelle:
150 gr of 00 flour
100 gr of semolina flour
50 ml of white wine
25 ml of warm water
15 grams of sugar
half a sachet of baking powder
half an egg
40 gr of lard
 
Filling ingredients:
250 gr of fresh ricotta
50 gr of sugar
chocolate chips to taste
sugar to decorate to taste
 
Directions:
Dough: in a bowl mix flour, semolina flour, yeast and sugar. Then add half a beaten egg, lard and white wine.
Then add the water and form a loaf and let it rise for 2 hours.
Filling: mix the ricotta with sugar and chocolate chips.
Cut the dough and form your cassatelle. Fry them and pass them in sugar.
