Mini babà: the Italian dessert to fall in love with!

INGREDIENTS
5 medium whole eggs,
50g (0.25 cup) sugar,
150ml (0.6 cup) milk,
8g (2 tsp) brewer's yeast,
300 grams of flour 00,
100g (0.8 cup) butter,
1 pinch of salt.
Cherries to decorate
For syrup:
600ml (2.54 cups) water,
200g (1 cup) sugar,
100ml (0.42 cup) rum.

METHOD
- Add eggs and sugar and stir until you get a fine frothy mixture. Prepare yeast with warm milk and add to the mixture with eggs during whipping, add flour, a pinch of salt and softened butter. Coat the mold with butter. Oil your hands, take the dough, move it and put it in a mold. Leave the dough to rise
- Bake at 160 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Prepare a syrup of water, rum and sugar, boil and cool to room temperature. Dip babas in syrup.
- Fill with vanilla cream and garnish with cherries.
