Pandoro star: the Italian dessert that everyone will love

A tasty and beautiful dessert that is ready in a few steps! 
 
INGREDIENTS
250 ml (1 cup) full-fat cream;
200 g (1 cup) mascarpone;
50 g (¼ cup) sugar;
1 pandoro;
powdered sugar.
METHOD
  1. Beat full-fat cream with sugar and mascarpone until smooth and airy.
  2. Cut 2 slices of pandoro from the middle part.
  3. Spread mascarpone cream on one slice of pandoro and top with the other one, pressing on it slightly.
  4. Smooth out the edges with a spatula.
  5. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
