Pistachio tiramisu: a Sicilian variation of the Italian classic tiramisu

Creamy, rich, and bursting with bold coffee and pistachio flavors, this dessert will be one of your all-time favorite desserts!

INGREDIENTS

• 120g sugar

• 4 egg yolks

4 egg whites

• 500g Mascarpone

• 200ml whipped cream

• 50g pistachio paste

• 25 lady finger biscuits

• 4 cups coffee

• 400g hazelnut cream

• chopped pistachios

METHOD

1. Using a mixer, beat the egg yolks with sugar, add the mascarpone

and continue beat until the mixture is smooth.

2. Add pistachio paste, whipped cream, whipped egg whites and mix gently with a spatula.

3. Soak the cookies in the coffee, place it in the mold and spread the hazelnut cream evenly.

4. Pour half of the pistachio cream, line up well and add a second layer of cookies and hazelnut cream.

5. Pour the remaining pistachio cream and refrigerate for 5 hours.

6. Decorate with hazelnut cream and chopped pistachios.
