ORANGE TIRAMISU: Let yourself be tempted by this creamy, citrus-flavored dessert!

INGREDIENTS (22×15cm dish)
250g ladyfingers
3 eggs (yolks and whites separated)
500g (2 cups) mascarpone
1 orange (juice + grated zest)
160g (3/4 cup + 2 tbsp) sugar (100g + 60g)
50ml (3 tbsp + 1 tsp) amaretto
250ml (1 cup) water
2 orange slices, for decoration
METHOD
1. Pour 60 g of sugar, the orange juice, the amaretto, and the water into a saucepan.
2. Place over heat and warm gently, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved. Let cool.
3. In a large bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff using an electric mixer.
4. In another bowl, beat the egg yolks with the remaining 100 g of sugar until pale and fluffy.
5. Add the mascarpone and mix again with the electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
6. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites a little at a time, mixing from the bottom up with a spatula.
7. Assemble the tiramisu: create a layer of ladyfingers dipped in the soaking syrup, followed by a layer of cream. Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers and finish with a layer of cream.
8. Decorate the top with grated orange zest and orange slices.
