Giant cream braided brioche: fluffy and full of flavor!

INGREDIENTS
 250ml (1 cup) warm milk;
 8g fresh yeast;
 80g (⅜ cup) sugar;
 1 egg;
 60ml (¼ cup) vegetable oil;
 500g (4 cups) 00 flour;
 Soft butter;
 Pastry cream and cranberries for decoration.
 
METHOD
  1.  Combine warm milk with half of the sugar and add crumbled yeast into it. Set aside for 10 minutes to activate.
  2.  Add leftover sugar, 1 egg and oil, whisk to combine.
  3.  Start gradually adding flour while working the dough with the dough hooks.
  4.  When all of the flour is incorporated, cover the dough with plastic, then set aside for 1 hour.
  5.  Roll out the dough into a rectangle, brush with some soft butter and cut into 6 strips almost all the way up. Braid the dough into 2 braids, then braid them together as shown on the video.
  6.  Set the bread aside for 1 hour, then brush with some more butter and decorate using pastry cream and fresh berries.
  7.  Bake for 25-30 minutes at 180C/350F.
