Potato and sausage pie: very simple and tasty!

INGREDIENTS
1.5kg of potatoes
Salt
Nutmeg
Pepper
60g (3/4 cup) of parmesan
3 eggs
Extra virgin olive oil
1/2 onion
460g of sausage
160g of cheese
Parmesan
Butter
METHOD
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into small pieces and transfer to the pot with water. Boil for 30 minutes and then remove from the heat.
2. Smash the potatoes and then add the salt, nutmeg, pepper, parmesan, and eggs and mix all together well.
3. In a pan add the olive oil and onion and fry until translucent. Add the sausage and fry for a few minutes. Remove from the heat.
4. Pour the half of potato mixture into the casserole and level it up well with a spatula. Arrange the prepared sausage and then arrange the cheese pieces.
5. Transfer the other half of the potato mixture into a piping bag and cover the entire surface of making the tufts.
6. Sprinkle with parmesan and add a few pieces of butter. Bake in oven at 180°C/360°F for 35 minutes.
7. Cut the pie into slices after baking and serve.
