Wool roll bread: make it perfect with this step by step recipe!

How to make the viral bread that everyone will love!
INGREDIENTS
80ml (⅓ cup) warm milk;
3g (1 tsp) dry yeast;
300g (2 cups) all-purpose flour;
5g (1 tsp) salt;
30g (⅛ cup) sugar;
1 egg;
100ml (⅓ cup+1 tbsp) full-fat cream;
120ml (½ cup) vanilla custard.
METHOD
- Whisk yeast into warm milk and set aside for 10 minutes.
- Whisk flour with salt and make a well in the center.
- Add an egg, sugar, cream and pour in the yeast solution.
- Mix until the dough forms, then knead the dough for 10 minutes, roll into a ball, cover and set aside for 1 hour.
- Cut the dough into 5 pieces, roll each into a ball and set aside for 20 minutes.
- Roll each ball out into an oval and make small cuts halfway through the oval.
- Pipe some custard on the bottom (whole) part of the oval.
- Carefully roll the dough as shown in the video.
- Place rolls close to each other, forming a ring in the 20 cm baking pan. Cover and set aside for 1 hour.
- Brush the bread with milk and bake for 25-30 minutes at 170C/340F.
