Wool roll bread: make it perfect with this step by step recipe!

How to make the viral bread that everyone will love!

INGREDIENTS
 80ml (⅓ cup) warm milk;
 3g (1 tsp) dry yeast;
 300g (2 cups) all-purpose flour;
 5g (1 tsp) salt;
 30g (⅛ cup) sugar;
 1 egg;
 100ml (⅓ cup+1 tbsp) full-fat cream;
 120ml (½ cup) vanilla custard.
 
METHOD
  1.  Whisk yeast into warm milk and set aside for 10 minutes.
  2.  Whisk flour with salt and make a well in the center.
  3.  Add an egg, sugar, cream and pour in the yeast solution.
  4.  Mix until the dough forms, then knead the dough for 10 minutes, roll into a ball, cover and set aside for 1 hour.
  5.  Cut the dough into 5 pieces, roll each into a ball and set aside for 20 minutes.
  6.  Roll each ball out into an oval and make small cuts halfway through the oval.
  7.  Pipe some custard on the bottom (whole) part of the oval.
  8.  Carefully roll the dough as shown in the video.
  9.  Place rolls close to each other, forming a ring in the 20 cm baking pan. Cover and set aside for 1 hour.
  10.  Brush the bread with milk and bake for 25-30 minutes at 170C/340F.
