Savory strudel with smoked ham and mushrooms: the easy recipe for a tasty dinner

Ingredients:
Puff pastry
2 medium potatoes
400 g of frozen mixed mushrooms
70 g of smoked ham
70 g of fontina cheese
4 tbsp of grated cheese
1 egg
2 garlic cloves
Oil, salt and pepper
- For decoration:
1 egg
Sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them in dices.
2. In a large pan heat some oil and cook the potatoes with a couple of tbsp of water.
3. Once done move them in a bowl.
4. In the same pan heat oil and garlic, then pour in the mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Once done mix them with the potatoes you cooked before.
6. The add grated cheese and egg.
7. Mix to blend all the ingredients.
8. Cut the fontina cheese in stripes.
9. Place the puff pastry on a baking tray.
10. Fill with the mushrooms and potatoes mix.
11. Then add fontina and smoked ham too.
12. Close the pastry and seal the edges.
13. Brush its surface with one whipped egg.
14. Make some cuts on it and decorate with sesame seeds.
15. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
