Apple sponge cake: the recipe for a soft and tasty dessert

Ingredients:
3 eggs
150 g of sugar
1 lemon zest
250 g of mascarpone cheese or ricotta cheese
1 packet of baking powder
A pinch of salt
200 g of flour
6 apples (4 in slices 2 in pieces)
Brown sugar
Directions:
1. First cut the apples in slices and in pieces.
2. In a large bowl mix the eggs with some sugar and the lemon zest.
3. Then add in the cheese, flour, baking powder and salt.
4. Lastly add the apples and pour the batter into a cake pan.
5. Put the apples' slices on top of the cake and sprinkle with some brown sugar.
6. Bake at 175 degrees for 45/50 minutes.
