Creamy apple cake: a delicious dessert to try!

It's not the usual apple pie!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
5-6 medium apples;
1 cup milk;
150 g (5 oz) flour;
230 g (8 oz) sugar;
3 eggs;
1 tsp cinnamon;
1 tsp vanilla extract;
160 g (5.6 oz) shortcrust biscuits, crumbled;
90 g (3 oz) butter, melted.
METHOD
- Combine butter with cookie crumbs. Spread the mixture into an even layer over the bottom of the cake pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 180C/350F.
- Peel, core and chop 4-5 peeled apples. Blend them with milk, flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Pour the mixture on top of the chilled cookie crust.
- Slice leftover apple into thin slices and layer on top of the pie carefully. Bake for 60 minutes, let cool down and then brush with peach puree.
