Creamy apple cake: a delicious dessert to try!

It's not the usual apple pie! 

INGREDIENTS
 5-6 medium apples;
 1 cup milk;
 150 g (5 oz) flour;
 230 g (8 oz) sugar;
 3 eggs;
 1 tsp cinnamon;
 1 tsp vanilla extract;
 160 g (5.6 oz) shortcrust biscuits, crumbled;
 90 g (3 oz) butter, melted.
 
METHOD
  1.  Combine butter with cookie crumbs. Spread the mixture into an even layer over the bottom of the cake pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 180C/350F.
  2.  Peel, core and chop 4-5 peeled apples. Blend them with milk, flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon.
  3.  Pour the mixture on top of the chilled cookie crust.
  4.  Slice leftover apple into thin slices and layer on top of the pie carefully. Bake for 60 minutes, let cool down and then brush with peach puree.
