Gâteau Invisible: the invisible apple cake to try right now!

Dozens of layers of thinly sliced apples held together with only a little bit of cake batter, this dessert is a must-try!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
100ml (3.5 fl.oz) milk;
75g (2.6 oz) flour;
50g (1.7 oz) sugar;
6-7 green apples;
2 eggs;
1 lemon (zest and juice);
1 ½ tsp baking powder.
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 180C/350F. Brush a cake pan with butter.
- Peel, core and slice the apples. Drizzle apple slices with lemon juice.
- Whisk eggs with sugar until pale and light. Add lemon zest, flour and baking powder. Whisk again until smooth batter forms.
- Pour the batter all over the apple slices and mix to coat all of them.
- Transfer apple slices into a prepared pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
