Apple pudding: creamy and simply delicious!

Without flour and butter, light and simply delicious! How to make it perfect:
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
6 eggs;
200 g (7 oz) sugar;
3 cups milk;
vanilla extract;
8 pieces of bread, crust removed, cut into pieces;
5 apples, peeled and cored;
250 g (8.8 oz) sugar;
¼ cup water.
METHOD
- Melt 250 g of sugar with ¼ cup water until golden caramel forms. Pour it into a bundt cake pan and roll it around carefully, to cover the bottom and the sides.
- Whisk eggs with sugar, vanilla and milk.
- Slice apples into thin rings, drizzle with lemon juice.
- Layer apples on the bottom of the cake pan, top with bread slices and pour egg and milk mixture to cover. Repeat until you fill-up the baking pan completely.
- Cover with foil and bake at 150C/300F for around 120 minutes in the bain-marie. Leave to cool down before serving.
