Stuffed eggplants: the recipe for a simple and tasty dish

Ingredients:

Eggplant

Ham

Smoked scamorza cheese

Egg

Flour

Breadcrumbs

Salt

Tomato sauce

Garlic

Oil

Mozzarella cheese

Directions:

1. Cut the eggplant in thin slices.

2. Place ham and cheese, then cover with another eggplant slice.

3. Coat the stuffed eggplant first with flour, then egg and breadcrumbs. For second coating, repeat the process with egg and breadcrumbs.

4. Place the eggplants in a tray and sprinkle with some olive oil.

5. Bake at 190 degrees for 20 minutes.

6. Meanwhile cook tomato sauce in a large pan with garlic and oil for 20 minutes.

7. Pour a spoonful on top of every eggplant then add diced mozzarella cheese.

8. Finish baking for another 10 minutes.
