Millefeuille cake with custard: the beautiful and delicious dessert to try

Ingredients:
- For the custard:
2 eggs
130 g of sugar
50 g of corn starch
10 g of vanilla sugar
1 tsp of turmeric (optional)
500 ml of milk
150 g of room temperature batter
- For the cherries coulis:
300 g of cherries
100 g of sugar
30 g of corn starch
30 g of water
- For the cake:
2 puff pastry sheets
200 g of whipping cream
2 tsp of powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Custard: in a saucepan mix eggs, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla sugar and turmeric. Mix well and add warm milk, let it thicken on the stove. Then cover with some plastic wrap and let cool.
2. Cherries coulis: cook the cherries with sugar, then blend. Melt cornstarch into water and cherries to make it thicker.
3. Blend butter and mix it with custard.
4. Whip the cream with some powdered sugar.
5. Make some holes on the puff pastry, add sugar and bake at 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
6. Now assemble the cake.
7. Put it in the fridge to cool it and take it off a little bit before serving.
