Sampita: the traditional dessert to try right now!

A layer of delicious cream to die for! Just a few ingredients, you cannot resist!
INGREDIENTS
Dough:
7 yolks
100g icing sugar
70ml oil
70ml milk
100g flour
1 tsp baking powder
Syrup:
480g sugar
3 package vanillin
100ml water
1 tbsp lemon juice
7 egg whites
1 pinch of salt
METHOD
- Dough: Beat the yolks with the icing sugar, then add the oil, milk and flour. Pour the mixture into a rectangular pan and bake at 356°F (180°C) for 10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, mix the sugar with vanillin, water and lemon juice. Bring this to a boil.
- Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff and then add the syrup.
- Cut and stuff the cake.
