Flower brioche cake: a tasty idea to surprise your family!

This treat is so easy to make and the result is gorgeous!
INGREDIENTS

350g (2 cups) Flour
3g (1/2 tsp) Dry yeast
120ml (1/2 cup) Milk
70g Sugar
Salt 2g (1/2 tsp)
Lemon peel
1 Egg
50g (0.22 cup) Butter
Decoration:
Apricot jam
Icing sugar
METHOD
- In a bowl pour milk. add dry yeast and mix. Add sugar, egg, lemon peel and mix it. Stir the flour, add salt. Mix it and then knead it. Add butter and continue kneading. Place the dough into a bowl and cover it for 3 hours.
- Divide the dough into three parts one small, one medium and one large. Make a ball of each part and let them rest for 20 minutes.
- Spread each ball. Put the large dough onto a pan and cut around the circle. Squeeze the ends of the cuts to make it look like a flower. Do the same with the other two parts of the dough. On top of it put some jam.
- Bake at 180C for 20 minutes. decorate with some icing sugar.
