Meringue cake with strawberries: the recipe for a fluffy and delicious dessert

Ingredients:
- For the cake:
190 g of egg whites (5-6 eggs)
8-10 g of vanilla sugar
250 g of powdered sugar
1 tsp of lemon juice
20 g of corn starch
Almond flakes
- For the strawberries:
150 g of strawberries
1 tsp of lemon juice
2 tbsp of corn starch
- For the filling:
400 g of mascarpone cheese
40 g of powdered sugar
80 g of whipping cream
Directions:
1. Beat egg whites with vanilla sugar, powdered sugar, lemon juice and corn starch.
2. Divide the batter in two parts, coat with almond flakes and bake at 150° for 35-40 minutes.
3. Puree the strawberries in a saucepan, then add lemon juice, sugar and cornstarch.
4. Bring to a boil and stir until it thickens.
5. Make the filling by mixing mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar and whipping cream.
6. Assemble the cake with meringue, cream filling and strawberry coulis.
8. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
9. Add fresh strawberries and powdered sugar on top to decorate.
