Potato sticks and fritters: two recipes to make some tasty appetizers

Ingredients:
- Fritters:
350 g of potatoes
1 carrot
Chives
2 eggs
Salt and pepper
3 tbsp of corn starch
3 tbsp of flour
Vegetable oil
- Sticks:
300 g of potatoes
Salt and pepper
Chives
Dill
2 tbsp of corn starch
Vegetable oil
100 g of mozzarella cheese
Flour
Breadcrumbs
1 egg
Directions:
- Fritters:
1. Grate potatoes and carrots, then soak them in water.
2. Squeeze them and mix with chives, eggs, salt and pepper.
3. Then add corn starch and flour, too.
4. Shape into little balls and fry in hot oil for 5-7 minutes.
- Sticks:
1. Cut potatoes in pieces and boil them, then mash and season with salt and pepper.
2. Add chives and corn starch. Stir into an even dough.
3. Shape the sticks and fill with a piece of mozzarella cheese.
4. Coat them with flour, dip in whisked eggs and coat them in breadcrumbs.
5. Fry in hot vegetable oil for 1-2 minutes.
