Salmon puff pastry star: the original idea for a tasty holiday-themed appetizer

Ingredients:
2 round puff pastry sheets
150 g of smoked salmon
200 g of cream cheese
1 egg yolk
Sesame or poppy seeds
Directions:
1. Cut salmon in pieces and mix with cheese in a smooth and creamy filling.
2. Place puff pastry onto a baking pan and fill, then cover with another puff pastry sheet sealing the edges.
3. Cut in wedges using a pizza cutter to shape the star, then twist and pair the edges.
4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Brush with whisked egg and milk, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
6. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180° for about 35-40 minutes.
