Chocolate layered cake: the recipe for a mouthwatering dessert

Ingredients:
- For the filling:
150 g of sugar
2 egg yolks
500 ml of milk
50 g of cocoa powder
50 g of flour
180 g of room temperature butter
- For the batter:
90 g of flour
30 g of cocoa powder
1 tsp of baking powder
4 eggs
1/4 tsp of salt
120 g of sugar
40 ml of room temperature water
- For the syrup:
100 ml of milk
1 tsp of powdered sugar
Directions:
1. For the filling: mix sugar, eggs and 1/3 of the milk in a saucepan.
2. Sift and add cocoa powder and flour. Stir well.
3. Pour in what's left of the milk.
4. Bring to the stove and cook until it thickens.
5. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool.
6. For the batter mix all of the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
7. Aside, whisk eggs with sugar and salt for about 10 minutes.
8. Now add room temperature water and dry ingredients from before.
9. Pour the batter in a round cake mold and bake at 180° for 40 minutes.
10. Now whisk batter and stir in chocolate mixture from before.
11. Refine the cake and cut it into three equal layers.
12. Wet the cake with a mixture of milk and powdered sugar, then assemble the dessert alternating cake and chocolate filling.
13. Use the filling to decorate, too.
14. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
15. Coat the cake outside with the filling and decorate with crumbled cake scraps.
