Lemon custard cake: the recipe to make it fluffy and fragrant

Ingredients:
- For the custard:
2 egg yolks
60 g of starch
150 g of sugar
500 g of milk
2 organic lemons
- For the base:
4 medium-sized eggs
270 g of cake flour
100 g of butter
160 g of sugar
1 organic lemon
60 g of milk
1 packet of baking powder
Directions:
1. First of all make the custard: grate the lemon zest and squeeze the lemon to get its juice.
2. In a pot whisk eggs and sugar for a couple of minutes.
3. Then add starch, lemon zest and juice and warm milk.
4. Bring the mixture on the stove, cook it at low heat and stir until it thickens.
5. Let cool covered in plastic.
6. For the cake batter: whisk eggs and sugar until you get a foamy mixture.
7. Add lemon zest, soft butter, lemon juice and lastly sifted flour and baking powder.
8. Pour the batter into a round cake mold (24 cm diameter) covered in baking paper.
9. Then add the custard you made before using a skewer.
10. Bake at 170° for 45 minutes.
