Homemade empanadas: the easy, quick and tasty recipe

Ingredients:
180 g of cake flour
20 g of lard
50 ml of water
Beef broth
Minced beef
Carrot
Chorizo
Onion
Seed oil
Extravirgin olive oil
Fresh oregano
Paprika
Tomato sauce
Chili powder
Yellow bell pepper
Salt
Celery
Cumin seeds
Fennel seeds
Zucchini
Hard boiled eggs
Directions:
1. STUFFING: In a large pan sauté meat with some olive oil at high heat.
2. After 15 minutes add diced chorizo and finely chopped vegetables (carrot, onion, zucchini, celery and bell pepper).
3. Put a lid on and let cook for another 30 minutes at low heat.
4. Season with salt, pepper, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, paprika and chili powder.
5. Also pour in tomato sauce and broth. When it's completely absorbed add chopped hard boiled eggs.
6. DOUGH: melt lard in hot water, then stir in the flour and knead until you get a smooth block.
7. Wrap it in plastic and let it rest for 30 minutes.
8. Spread the dough using a rolling pin and shape some circles out of it.
9. Season the stuffing with fresh oregano, then use it to fill the dough.
10. Close them by pinching the edges.
11. Fry your empanadas in boiling seeds oil until golden on both sides.
