Milk cream pie: the recipe to make it super delicious and inviting!

INGREDIENTS
360g (2 ¾ cups) of all-purpose flour
1 egg
120g (½ cup) of cold butter
130g (⅝ cup) of sugar
3g (½ tsp) of baking powder
520ml (2 cups) of milk
60g (½ cup) of cornstarch
120g (½ cup) of sugar
250g (1 cup) of jam
METHOD
1. For the dough combine flour with baking powder and sugar. Add cold butter, and rub together until crumbs form. Mix in one egg and press the pastry together. Cover with plastic and let sit in the fridge for up to an hour.
2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan whisk sugar with cornstarch, add milk, and cook until the cream gets thick. Let cool down completely.
3. Roll ⅔ of the pastry out into a disk and cover the bottom and the sides of a 22cm tart pan.
4. Spread jam and cream on top.
5. Roll out the leftover pastry, cut it into strips, and place it on top of the pie.
6. Bake at 190°C/375°F for 45 minutes.
