Orange sweet bread: delicious and absolutely worth trying!

Crispy, crunchy, sweet deep-fried fritters. They are irresistible! 
 
INGREDIENTS
600g (5 cups) flour
300ml (1 1/4 cups) warm water
1 egg
30ml (2 tbsp) oil
3g (1 tbsp) orange zest
1 orange, juiced
7g (2 1/4 tsp) dry yeast
 
Sugar for coating
Vegetable oil for frying

METHOD
  1. In a bowl combine warm water, dry yeast, oil, egg, orange juice, and zest. Whisk well until smooth.
  2. Add in flour and start to mix the dough with a spatula.
  3. Then continue to knead it with your hands until you receive an elastic dough.
  4. Cover and let sit for 1 hour.
  5. Roll the dough into a ball and divide it into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a small ball. Flatten it a bit and roll it into a round shape. Continue with the remaining dough.
  6. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  7. Fry in hot oil for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden.
  8. Coat in sugar and serve.
