Sweet bread cake: how to reuse stale bread for a special dessert!

Don't throw away your stale bread! Here's how to male a delicious cake in no-time! 
 
INGREDIENTS
3 Day old bread
4 cups (1l) Milk
5 Eggs
1/2 cup (100g) Sugar
1/2 cup (110g) melted butter
1/2 cup Raisins
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Powdered sugar
 
METHOD
  1. Cut the bread into little pieces.
  2. Pour milk to the bread pieces and let it soak for 10 minutes. Add in eggs, sugar, melted butter, raisins and vanilla extract, mix it well and transfer to a baking pan.
  3. Bake at 190’C ( 375’F ) for 45 minutes.
  4. When cool enough sprinkle with powdered sugar.
