Orange donut cake: fragrant, moist, and tender

With freshly squeezed orange juice and orange zest, this cake is a must-try!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
• 2 oranges
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup sugar
• 5 eggs
• 225g / 1.5 cups sugar
• 75g / 0.5 cup butter
• 150ml / 5.3oz orange juice
•pinch of salt
• 8g baking powder
• 1 tbsp orange zest
• 4 cups flour
Orange sauce:
• 1 cup orange juice
• 3 tbsp sugar
METHOD
- Two oranges cut into slices. Mix a cup of water and a cup of sugar, bring to a boil and put slices of orange.
- Beat 5 eggs. Add sugar and beat until white. Add melted butter, orange juice, zest, flour, salt and baking powder. Beat well.
- Grease the donut mold with butter and put the orange slices. Pour the mix. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 ° C / 350 ° F.
- Mix one cup of orange juice with three tablespoons of sugar and bring to a boil. Pour the prepared mixture onto the prepared donut.
