Orange fluffy donuts: a delicious and soft dessert!

Light, fluffy and incredibly moist, these donuts are a real taste sensation!
INGREDIENTS

300 g (10 oz) flour;
200 g (7 oz) ricotta;
1 egg;
50 g (1.7 oz) sugar;
1 orange (juice and zest);
½ tbsp baking powder;
Powdered sugar;
Vegetable oil for frying.
METHOD
- Combine dry ingredients: flour, salt and baking powder.
- In another bowl whisk sugar, ricotta, orange juice and zest, and 1 egg.
- Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir to combine until soft and slightly sticky dough forms.
- Cover working surface with generous amount of flour, place the dough on and sprinkle with some more flour.
- Form the dough into a log, cut into 10-12 pieces and roll each piece into a rope. Make a loop as shown on the video.
- Fry donut in preheat to 180C/350F oil for 2-3 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Cover with powdered sugar and serve while still hot.
