Orange fluffy donuts: a delicious and soft dessert!

Light, fluffy and incredibly moist, these donuts are a real taste sensation!

INGREDIENTS
 300 g (10 oz) flour;
 200 g (7 oz) ricotta;
 1 egg;
 50 g (1.7 oz) sugar;
 1 orange (juice and zest);
 ½ tbsp baking powder;
 Powdered sugar;
 Vegetable oil for frying.
 
METHOD
  1.  Combine dry ingredients: flour, salt and baking powder.
  2.  In another bowl whisk sugar, ricotta, orange juice and zest, and 1 egg.
  3.  Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir to combine until soft and slightly sticky dough forms.
  4.  Cover working surface with generous amount of flour, place the dough on and sprinkle with some more flour.
  5.  Form the dough into a log, cut into 10-12 pieces and roll each piece into a rope. Make a loop as shown on the video.
  6.  Fry donut in preheat to 180C/350F oil for 2-3 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Cover with powdered sugar and serve while still hot.
