Moist orange pie: perfect for the tea time!

It’s fresh, it’s moist, it’s crunchy and super delicious…need we go on? Save the recipe!
INGREDIENTS

Dough:
250ml (1 cup) Orange juice
2 Eggs
250ml (1 cup) Oil
100g (1/2 cup) Sugar
5g (1 tbsp) Orange peel
20g (2 tbsp) Vanilla sugar
20g (2 tbsp) Baking powder
500g (2 cups) Flour
Filling:
500ml (2 cups) Orange juice
50g (¼ cup) Sugar
15g (3 tbsp) Corn starch
METHOD
- For the dough: In a bowl put eggs, add sugar, vanilla sugar and whisk it. Pour the orange juice, oil and mix it. Add orange peel. In a bowl with flour add the baking powder. Add it to the bowl with wet ingredients. Knead the dough and spread it in a pan. Make holes with oiled glass.
- For filling: In a pot pour the orange juice, add sugar and corn starch. Mix it and put on heat. Cook until it thickens a bit.
- Pour the filling into dough holes. Bake at 180C for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with some icing sugar and add the rest of the filling on top. Serve.
