Artichokes and shrimps: the tasty meal very easy to prepare

Ingredients:
6-8 large artichokes
250 g raw shrimp
A handful of ham cubes
2 bay leaves
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon of tomato paste
A splash of cognac, brandy or wine
Salt and pepper
Lemon
Directions:
1. First clean the artichokes and put them in water and lemon. Then boil them in salted water. Transfer them to a pan and keep the cooking water.
2. Clean the prawns and brown the scraps in a saucepan with the onion and garlic. Then add the tomato paste, brandy, cooking water from the artichokes and the bay leaf. Cook and then strain the liquid.
3. Pour it into a pan and add the artichokes.
4. Mix a couple of teaspoons of starch in a little water and pour the mixture into the pan to thicken the sauce.
5. Add the shrimp, salt, pepper and lemon.
