Wonton wrapped shrimps: an amazing appetizer recipe!

A fantastic appetizer made of tender, marinated shrimp and crispy wontons.
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
12 jumbo shrimps;
12 egg roll wrappers;
2 tbsp sweet chili sauce;
2 tbsp dark soy sauce;
½ tsp lemon juice;
vegetable oil for frying.
METHOD
- Preheat vegetable oil to 190C/375F.
- Clean shrimp removing shells and veins.
- Brush all 4 sides of the egg roll wrapper with some water or egg wash. Place clean shrimp on one corner and roll as shown in the video.
- Fry shrimps for 2-3 minutes or until golden.
Meanwhile, make a quick sauce by whisking together soy sauce with sweet chili and some lemon juice. Serve right away.
