Apple bread rolls: it will be a family favorite!

These Apple Bread Rolls are mouthwatering rolls that can be served as breakfast or as a tasty dessert.
INGREDIENTS
6 slices toast bread
1 apple, peeled and cut into cubes
15 g (1 tbsp) butter
3g (1 tsp) cornstarch
70 g (1/3 cup) brown sugar
5g (1/2 tsp) ground cinnamon
2 eggs
125 g (1 cup) breadcrumbs
vegetable oil (for frying)
METHOD
- Melt a tablespoon of butter in a frying pan, add apple cubes and saute for 1 minute.
- Add cornstarch, brown sugar, and cinnamon to the pan, and simmer over medium heat for 3 minutes. Set aside.
- In a bowl whisk 2 eggs, in another bowl place a cup of breadcrumbs.
- Cut the crust off the bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
- Place a spoon of apples onto a flattened bread slice. Brush the end of the slice with whisked eggs and roll the bread up.
- Seam the edges of the rolled bun with a fork. Continue with the remaining bread slices and apples.
- Dip each bun in whisked eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.
- Fry in hot oil for 2 minutes or until golden.
- Serve immediately.
