Soft apple bread: a unique idea to surprise your guests!

This quick bread recipe makes a moist, sweet, and delicious apple bread to try right now!
INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
300 g (10 oz) flour;
40 g (1.4 oz) powdered sugar;
1 ¼ tsp dry yeast;
2/3 cup warm milk;
30 g (1 oz) butter;
1 egg.
For the filling:
1 apple, chopped;
30 g (1 oz) butter;
40 g (1.4 oz) brown sugar;
¼ tsp cinnamon powder.
For the serving:
cinnamon stick;
pumpkin seeds.
METHOD
- Start with the dough by whisking one egg with powdered sugar, butter, and milk.
- Add flour into the liquids mixture and mix the dough together using a hand mixer with dough hooks on until the dough becomes smooth (around 5-7 minutes).
- Cover the dough with plastic and set aside for 1 hour.
- Meanwhile make quick apple filling by combining chopped apples with butter, sugar, and cinnamon over medium heat. After around 5 minutes remove from heat and set aside to cool down.
- Cut the dough into 12 equal parts, roll each one into a circle and place a small amount of apple filling into the center.
- Gather all sides of the dough, pinch them and place the ball of dough seem-side down into a muffin tin.
- Leave apple buns to rise again for around 30 minutes, then place the broken cinnamon stick into the middle of each apple to imitate an apple stem.
- Bake the apples at 180C/350F for 13 minutes. Decorate with a «leaf» which is made out of a pumpkin seed dipped in caramel.
