Fried apple rolls: a sweet treat that kids will love!

These apple rolls make the perfect fall treat and will remind you of apple pie but in a
roll form.
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
Dough:
200ml (1 cup) Milk
25g (2 tbsp) Sugar
2g (1/2 tsp) Salt
20g (1 ½ tbsp) Butter
5g (1 tsp) Dry yeast
400g (3 cups) Flour
300g (2 cups) Apples
1 Egg
Coating:
50g (4 tbsp) Sugar
5g (1 tsp) Cinnamon
METHOD
- For the dough: In a bowl pour warm milk. Add sugar and salt. Mix and add melted butter, dry yeast and mix it. Add flour and knead it. Let it rest for 1 hour.
- Peel and cut the apples into squares. Spread the dough into a circle. Whisk the egg and spread it on top of the dough. Place the apples and roll it.
- Cut the dough into circles. Leave them covered for 10 minutes.
- In a pan with oil place the rolls and fry them.
- For coating: In a bowl add sugar and cinnamon and mix.
- Put the rolls into the coating. Serve.
