Orange braided brioche: it will be a family favorite!

It's wonderful freshly baked or even toasted and buttered for breakfast, day after day! It will be a family favorite!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
1kg flour
120ml water
25g yeast, or 50 g fresh yeast
200ml milk
100g butter
orange zest, of 1 orange
14g mahlab
300g granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 eggs, medium
1 pinch salt
100g butter, melted
To assemble:
1 egg yolk, diluted with 1 tablespoon water
almond slices
METHOD
- Heat in the pan milk, water, butter, add in orange zest, sugar and vanilla.
- Transfer mixture to a bowl, add in yeast, eggs, flour and species. Mix everything well and let the dough rest for 3 hours.
- Divide the dough into 2 pieces and then each into 4 more. Shape into round strips that are about 50 cm each. Knit 4 pieces together. Spread it with egg yolk and sprinkle with almond slices.
- Bake at 150 '(300 'F) C for 50 minutes.
