Zuppa inglese recipe: the Italian creamy dessert to try right now

Ingredients:
500g milk
150g cream
5 yolks
140g sugar
48g corn starch
1/2 vanilla
70g dark chocolate
200g ladyfingers
350g alchermes
Directions:
1. Heat milk, cream and vanilla.
2. Whip the egg yolks with sugar and starch.
3. Pour some of the mixture with the hot milk.
4. Then bring to the fire and let it thicken.
5. Divide the creams in two bowls and add the chocolate in one of the two. Let the creams rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
6. Assemble the cake and leave it in the fridge for 2 hours.
