Fluffy donuts: the recipe to make them super fluffy with a special method!

INGREDIENTS

1 egg

3 tbsp sugar

Vanilla extract 1 tsp

1/4 cup oil 40 g

Milk 1 cup 150 ml

1 tbsp instant yeast

8g baking powder

1 tsp salt

4 cups flour 400 g

Hazelnut cream

Egg yolk

Vinegar 1/2 tsp

Sesame seeds

METHOD

In a bowl mix together egg, sugar, vanilla extract and oil. Add in milk and yeast, mix everything together. Add in flour with baking powder and salt. Pour a little oil and let the dough rest for 1 hour.
Divide into 8 balls and make wholes inside of each by using a rolling pin. Transfer to a pan and let it rest for another 15 minutes.
Brush them with egg yolk and vinegar mixture. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 180’C(356’F) for 25 minutes.
Decorate with hazelnut cream.
