published on 27 December, 2022 at 16:50
Fluffy and super delicious:
INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
75 g (⅓ cup) butter, melted;
100 ml (⅓ cup + 1 tbsp) lukewarm milk;
400 g (3 ½ cup) all-purpose flour;
7 g (2 ½ tsp) dry yeast;
25 g (2 tbsp) sugar;
2 eggs;
a pinch of salt.
For the filling:
125 g (½ cup) butter, softened;
150 g (¾ cup) brown sugar;
1 ½ tsp cinnamon.
METHOD
1. In a large bowl whisk together melted butter, lukewarm milk, sugar, and eggs. Add flour and salt. Knead the dough until smooth. Form the dough into a ball and wrap it in plastic. Let it rise for 2 hours.
2. For the creamy cinnamon filling, beat softened butter with brown sugar until light and pale. Add cinnamon and beat until combined.
3. Roll out the dough forming an even rectangle. Spread creamy cinnamon filling on top.
4. Roll the dough into a tight roll and cut it into 9 even pieces. Flatten each piece slightly and place it into a paper cup. Transfer each paper cup into a metal ring (10 cm).
5. Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
