Giant burger, chicken buns and onion beef: you can’t miss this!

This recipe is perfect for a Saturday dinner; a showstopper idea!

For the "sandwich":
475g (3.3 cups) chicken breast
1 egg
30g (0.2 cup) breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper
For burial:
3 eggs
Flour
Breadcrumbs
1 bowl 14 x 5 cm
For hamburger:
500g (3.3 cups) ground beef
Salt and pepper
Red onion
To fill the burger:
8 slices of stretched bacon
4 slices of cheese
50g (0.2 cup) mayonnaise
2 tsp (10g) barbecue sauce
METHOD
- How to proceed: Add in the chopped chicken breast with the egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap, fill it with chicken mixture and wrap it in plastic wrap. Put the dish in the freezer for about 90 minutes.
- Remove the chicken mixture from the freezer and remove the plastic wrap. Roll the chicken in flour, eggs and breadcrumbs, then place on a baking sheet and cook in a convection oven at 160 ° C for about 30 minutes.
- Cut the roasted chicken breast in half and coat the bottom with mayonnaise.
- Now prepare the burger by combining ground beef, salt and pepper. Make two burgers, fill the burger with red onion and close it with another burger, pressing your fingers along the edges to close them.
- Fry the hamburger on both sides and place it on a layer of mayonnaise. Fill everything with cheese and crispy bacon.
- Finally, make the last layer of barbecue sauce and close the "sandwich" with the other half of the crispy chicken breast.
