published on 16 January, 2023 at 15:05
Ingredients:
600 g of semi-whole wheat flour
280 ml of milk
1 egg
1 tsp of sugar
4 g of fresh brewer's yeast (or 140 g of sourdough)
80 ml of olive oil
1 tsp of salt
Directions:
1. In a bowl mix flour, milk, yeast, sugar and egg.
2. Start mixing with a fork, then add oil and lastly salt.
3. Knead for a minute, then make a block out of the dough.
4. Cover it and let rise until it doubles its size.
5. Divide the dough into equal parts to make the buns.
6. Slightly flatten them with your hands, cover them and let them rise until they double their size at room temperature.
7. Bake in a pre-heated static oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes, or until they're golden.
8. Fill as you like.
